Jyll.Posten dec. 2010: "Præcis og
mineralsk frugtnæse med styrke og tilpas egetræ
Charmerende og kultiveret. Fornem balance og
intenst mousse. Rank og fyldig frugt med
vellykket struktur. Elegant og klassisk champagne."
"Lysegul, iltre bobler, kødfyld mund i pinot
noir domineret champagne. God" -Politiken.
Ganske lille vingård i Bouzy, anset for den
bedste Pinot Grand Cru i Champagne.
I top hos bl.a. Juhlin -Champagnens nr 1.
75% Grand Cru Bouzy Pinot Noir + 25% Chardonnay
fra 1.Cru naboen Tauxières. "Overdådig duft, meget fin
mousse, lækker og vellavet" -et fund til prisen!
91p/Spectator dec, 2010: "Very elegant, with a lingering, smoke- and rose-tinged finish.
This subtle Champagne shows fine integration and texture, with sub layers of
cardamom and anise accenting the flavors of apple galette, honey and lemon curd.
Drink now through 2020. 4,000 cases made."
90p/Galloni i WineAdvocate: "Wonderfully rich, creamy wine laced with
gorgeous Pinot fruit. This shows tons of Bouzy character. With
time in the glass, the bubbles dissipate, leaving a beautifully
pure expression of fruit. 75% Pinot Noir, 25% Chardonnay,
60% from the 2007 vintage and 40% from 2006. The Pinot is
from Grand Cru vineyards in Bouzy, Ambonnay and Tours-sur-Marne,
while the Chardonnay comes from Premier Cru Tauxieres.
This is an impressive set of wines from Camille Saves
in Bouzy, a village famous for its Pinot Noir.
A wonderful introduction for readers new to Bouzy. Even better,
the wines remain reasonably priced
considering the quality of what is in the bottle. Interestingly,
despite their richness, none of the wines at Saves undergo
malolactic fermentation as these vineyards in Bouzy provide more
than enough stuffing on their own".
